Product Management
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Product management, dealing with the planning, forecasting, and marketing of our products at all stages of the product lifecycle, is an organizational lifecycle function within our company.
Similarly, as part of our Product Lifecycle Management ( our Managing Partner, Mrs Naima Majouri, sets a succession of strategies as a product goes through its lifecycle The conditions in which a product is sold changes over time and is managed as it moves through its succession of stages.
The goals of our Product Lifecycle Management ( are to reduce time to market, improve product quality, and identify potential sales opportunities and revenue contributions To create successful new products, our company tries to understand its manufacturers, customers, markets and competitors Through our Product Lifecycle Management ( we integrate people, data, processes and business systems to provide product information for our customers and their extended enterprises.
Our concept of product life cycle ( concerns the life of a product in the market with respect to business, commercial costs and sales measures The product life cycle proceeds through multiple phases, involves many professional disciplines, and requires many skills, tools and processes Our product life cycle ( management makes the following three assumptions.
Our Core Values interpret Our Name
- That products have a limited life and thus every product has a life cycle
- That product sales pass through distinct stages, each posing different challenges, opportunities, and problems to us; and
- That products require different marketing, financing, manufacturing, purchasing, and human resource strategies in each life cycle stage.
Product Life Cycle
We, in Cinmar Plus Building Materials, keep an eye on our products during the following four main stages of a Product’s Life Cycle (PLC)
– Market introduction stage
– Growth stage
– Maturity stage and
– Saturation and decline stage.
We constantly emphasize the importance for our marketing personnel to understand the limitations of the Product Life Cycle ( model, because it is sometimes difficult for marketing personnel to gauge accurately where a product is on its life cycle A rise in sales per se is not necessarily evidence of growth, a fall in sales per se does not typify decline, and some products may not experience a decline at all.
Product Managament
Our role consists of one important sector of Product Management which is product marketing (the other, of course, is product development which is the role of our manufacturers), where both are different yet complementary) efforts with the objective of maximizing sales revenues, market share, and profit margins To maximize the impact and benefits to our organization, Our product management is an independent function separate on its own.
While involved with the entire product lifecycle, our product management’s main focus is on the introduction of new products As we all know, superior and differentiated new products (the ones that deliver unique benefits and superior value to the customer) are the number one driver of success and product profitability.
